Eddy Current Testing

Advanced Eddy Current Testing for Conductive Materials

Eddy Current Testing (ECT) uses electromagnetic induction to detect flaws in conductive materials like cracks, corrosion via coil-generated eddy currents. Tove Leeds inspects heat exchanger tubes, aircraft, welds, tanks with surface probes, bobbin coils, arrays.

Multi-frequency optimizes detection: high for surface cracks, low for subsurface. Serves power (tubes), aerospace (fatigue), oil & gas (pipelines), automotive (alloys).

Advantages: sensitive, fast, through-coatings, no couplant. ASNT/ISO-trained techs calibrate standards, produce C-scan reports for maintenance, per ASNT SNT-TC-1A.

Why Choose Tove Leeds?

High-Sensitivity Flaw Detection

Our ECT systems detect cracks, corrosion, pitting, and material loss in conductive materials. We identify defects as small as 0.1mm

Tube & Heat Exchanger Expertise

We specialize in condenser and heat exchanger tube inspections at speeds up to 3 m/s.

Coating & Conductivity Measurement

ECT accurately measures non-conductive coating thickness on metal substrates and verifies material conductivity for alloy sorting.

Rapid Portable Inspection

Our portable equipment performs on-site inspections of aircraft structures, welded components, and production parts.
