Heat exchanger tube leakage testing detects through-wall defects causing contamination/efficiency loss in refineries, power plants, chemical facilities. Tove Leeds uses hydrostatic (1.3x MAWP per API 660/ASME VIII, bubble solution on tube sheets, 10⁻³ atm·cc/s), pneumatic (air/N2 with safety barricades), helium mass spec (10⁻⁹ atm·cc/s for high-purity).

Non-destructive: eddy current/IRIS/RFT for thinning/pitting in SS/copper/CS tubes. Vacuum box testing (8-14 psi) for fixed tubesheets without dismantling.

ASNT Level II/III techs follow TEMA/API codes, calibrated gauges. Reports map leaks, recommend repairs for predictive maintenance, compliance.
